Scope of Works
The legal publishing firm, Lexis Nexis had used Crisp for our space planning skills in their Central London offices as well as their two additional sites in Croydon, further a field we had planned, designed and fitted out their Regional offices over 3 floors in Leeds. An internal project was undertaken by Lexis Nexis to provide a selling point to external companies for their publication products, something they were looking to expand electronically to legal firms and financial institutions. Crisp were appointed to create an Interior Design proposal based on their initial thoughts of a club lounge environment, but with an 'off the wall futuristic feel'.
Crisp produced a computer generated walkthrough, which achieved the effect of being able to walk into the space, explore the views, sit down on the thought provoking seating and see the liquid filled floor and watch in awe as the fibre optic constellation lighting scheme and designs changed colour and effect. This really was 'The Law Office Of The Future'.
Since having untaken this project, Crisp have carried out feasibility studies on several alternative buildings for Lexis Nexis, consolidating several of their sites into one. Each and every building option was planned, designed and fully quoted allowing Lexis Nexis a true comparison as to how much space they would require, against how much the entire project would cost. The final outcome being that of Crisp proving that should they remain in their current location, adopting a new furniture system and readdressing their working methods to a more manageable style for the facilities department, they could fit in less space and potentially sublet up to two floors, bringing in an income that would supplement the project costs over a period of time.
